Tigersi.com is a personal notebook of my thoughts about technical solutions using but not limited to Microsoft technologies. I find that technology is like the poem by William Blake:
TIGER, tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
Technology is like a tiger both fearsome and beautiful. It's up to us to create solutions that inspire, are creative, useful and novel with hardware and software.
I'm focused on technology is three areas.
• Software Engineering
When I'm not in the data kitchen cooking ones and zeroes, I enjoy spending time roving with my wife in our RV seeing our beautiful country.
I have had an interest in art since I could hold a pencil. I have worked with digital art since I bought my first computer. I have been working with computer graphics for about fifteen years. By working with a variety of programs, I am free to use my imagination with 3D graphics with no limits.
Most of my figures are generated in Poser, my background sets are usually done in Bryce or Terragen. Post production is usually done in Photoshop, where shadows, fog, and special effects are created in layers and combined with the image.
The most important aspects of my work is it's emphasis on lighting. Above all I try to achieve realism in my images. I spend hours manipulating shadows and subtle nuances so that the image looks real. An image can take from one to three weeks to complete, depending on its complexity.
I'm a currently developing business intelligence solutions, but over the years I've developed web and desktop application. I've primarily been on the Microsoft Platform developing for fortune 500 companies. As a result of this background I have a seasoned perspective on how to develop BI applications and deliver quality solutions. My approach is very pragmatic and I bring a high level of integrity to my work.
